Guests staying at Villa Il Trebbio in Cortona will be able to rely on the owners for their precious help in suggesting and booking activities, excursions, and events.
Cortona has a constant lineup of cultural and folkloristic events, including the international photography festival Cortona On The Move, the antique furniture exhibition Cortonantiquaria, or the historical re-enactment of a crossbow shooting competition “Giostra dell’Archidado.”
For lovers of Tuscan cuisine and for those who wish to spend enjoyable evenings in the company of friends without having to worry about all the preparations that go into making elaborate dinners, we are happy to help by bringing in a cook. Menus for dinners will be agreed in advance with the chef, who will be able to advise you on the best seasonal foods and the best wine pairings. The owners will also be happy to book restaurants and pizzerias in the area for you.
For those who wish to learn the art of Italian cooking, cooking courses can be held at Villa Il Trebbio. Guests can also simply purchase the fine olive oil produced at Villa Il Trebbio following centuries-old traditions handed down through the generations.
The owners will be happy to provide directions and organize trips and tours throughout Tuscany and Umbria, beauty treatments at thermal spas (the Terme di Rapolano spa is only 25 minutes away), ferry trips to the islands of Lake Trasimeno (the ferry docks in Tuoro are only 15 minutes away), visits to local wine cellars, and other wine and food tours.
Also while in Cortona, you can take horseback riding excursions, bicycle rides, play golf, tennis, or go to the gym.
All activities must be booked in advance through the owners.
